Service Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between 101Publish LLC (“Company”), and the Author (“Author”), collectively referred to as “the Parties.”


101Publish LLC is a book marketing and publishing services company. We provide a range of marketing and promotional services for Authors, including but not limited to digital marketing, print, social media campaigns, media outreach, and other related services. These Agreement Terms and Conditions set forth the terms and conditions under which the Company will render its services to the Author.

By signing this Agreement, the Author agrees to be bound by these terms.


101Publish LLC agrees to provide the following services to the Author (the “Services”):

  • Book Marketing: Targeted digital marketing, social media campaigns, SEO optimization, book promotions, advertisements, and email marketing.
  • Press & Media Outreach: Writing and distributing press releases, arranging interviews, and handling media outreach.
  • Content Development: Assistance with website content, blog posts, author bios, and book descriptions.
  • Sales Tracking & Analytics: Reports on marketing campaigns, including reach, engagement, and results.
  • Additional Services: Other related services as agreed upon in writing between both Parties.

The Author retains 100% of the rights to their work, including the copyright, distribution rights, and any intellectual property associated with their book(s). 101Publish LLC does not claim ownership of the Author’s work and will not alter the ownership of the content in any way.

  • Copyright Ownership: The Author affirms that they hold the full and exclusive rights to the book(s) they are promoting and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 101Publish LLC from any claims regarding infringement or unauthorized use of the content.

  • Fees: The Author agrees to pay 101Publish LLC for the Services provided as outlined in the specific marketing plan or proposal.
  • Payment Schedule: Payment will be due according to the agreed-upon schedule in the proposal. This may be a one-time payment, milestone payments, or monthly payments depending on the scope of Services.

We strive to deliver high-quality services that meet your expectations. However, due to the nature of our services, refunds are subject to specific conditions:

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
    • A refund request must be made within 7 days from the date of payment or the initiation of the service, whichever occurs first. For installment plans, the same refund policy applies based on the first payment date or the initiation of the service.
    • If we fail to deliver the contracted services or products as outlined in the service agreement, a refund may be issued.
  • Non-Refundable:
    • Change of Mind: If the customer changes their mind or cancels the service after work has commenced, no refund will be issued.
    • Book Publishing Services: Once your manuscript has been submitted and work has commenced on the publication of your book, all payments made are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, editing, formatting, design, and any other services related to the publishing process.
    • Book Marketing Services: Once marketing services are initiated—such as website creation, social media campaigns, advertising, or promotional materials—payments are non-refundable. Marketing efforts are designed for long-term growth, and the results may take time to fully materialize.
    • Service Commencement: For the purpose of this policy, “service commencement” is defined as the start of any work, including manuscript review, design work, or marketing activities—whichever occurs first. Once services have begun, we are unable to provide refunds due to the time and resources already committed.
    • Client Acknowledgment: By proceeding with any of our publishing or marketing services, you acknowledge and agree to this No Refund Policy. We strongly encourage you to carefully review the details of our services and communicate with us before the initiation of any work.
  • Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, you must contact us via email at support@101publish.com within the applicable 7-day window. We will review your request and inform you of our decision.
  • Processing Time: Refund requests are typically reviewed within 30 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
  • Refund Charges: If a refund is granted, the following charges may apply:
    • Processing Fee: A flat $200 charge will be applied for processing all refunds.
    • Administrative Fee: An administrative fee of 10% of the total service cost will be deducted to cover administrative costs.
    • Service Fee Deductions: If any portion of the service has been provided or materials have been delivered, the refund will be prorated. This may include partial charges for consultation, design work, or other services already rendered.

  • Term: This Agreement will be in effect for a period of [insert period] starting from the Effective Date unless terminated earlier as outlined below.
  • Termination by Author: The Author may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice, subject to the payment of all outstanding fees for services rendered.
  • Termination by 101Publish LLC: The Company may terminate this Agreement if the Author fails to comply with the terms, including non-payment, within [X] days after written notice.

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared during the term of this Agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing strategies, sales data, business plans, and any personal information shared between the Parties.


By signing this Agreement, the Author grants 101Publish LLC permission to use the Author’s name, book titles, and related materials for the purpose of marketing and promotional efforts in accordance with the services provided. This includes social media posts, promotional videos, advertisements, and more.

  • Opt-Out: If the Author wishes to opt-out of any specific marketing activities, they must provide written notice at least [X] days in advance.

  • Limitation of Liability: 101Publish LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the marketing of the Author’s book or from the use of its services. The Author acknowledges that results may vary and that no specific outcomes or sales are guaranteed.
  • Indemnification: The Author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 101Publish LLC, its agents, contractors, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the content of the Author’s work or its marketing.

  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [State/Country].
  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
  • Amendments: Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.
  • Assignment: The Author may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under this Agreement without prior written consent from 101Publish LLC.

By signing below, both Parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth in this Agreement.
